2iE: A Worldwide Institute

 

2iE, a Vision

2iE aims to train highly skilled individuals and focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship for the development of the African continent. Gender, linguistic and cultural differences are taken into account and 2iE works in partnership with higher education institutions in Africa.

The institute intends to become a reference throughout the continent in terms of training and research, and a centre of excellence recognised on an international scale in the fields of water, environment, civil engineering and energy.

A melting pot with students (20% female) from more than 30 countries

An investment plan of 20 billion FCFA by 2012: building of new infrastructures on 30,000 m2 including 18,000 m2 of new facilities to accommodate 2,500 students
