In Europe like in the United States, partnerships between engineering and business schools are becoming more frequent. They respond to a demand from the business world, looking for polyvalent executives equipped with complementary competences.

Created in 2012 in this perspective, 2iE’s Business School provides a teaching program focused on management and setting up of businesses: strategy, innovation, project management, accountancy, finance, opportunities and challenges of the private sector in Africa. Its training program offer is targeted at:

  • Engineering students, who wish to complete their technical competence with managerial know-how.
  • Executives in office jobs, who wish to acquire the necessary knowledge to set up a business or give some new prospects to their career.

Integrated within 2iE in order to ease interaction between fundamental scientific research and the business world, the Business School allows a specific approach of the green economy and social entrepreneurship in Africa.

It also intervene in the support device to the innovative and responsible business setting up, proposed by 2iE via an incubator and a business nursery.


Research in management led by the Business School contributes to develop innovative educational and professional practices. It works in close relationship with 2iE’s partner companies, in order to provide them with tools serving their efficiency. Beyond the International MBA Management Eco-Innovation, the Business School offers conferences, workshops, as well as a continuing training program offer.
