3 équipes de 2iE sélectionnées pour la demi-finale de la Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC), la plus grande compétition internationale d’entreprenariat social !

La GSVC est une compétition internationale de Business Plans réservée à des projets d’entreprises alliant viabilité économique et impact social et/ou environnemental.Cette année, ce n’est pas un, ni deux… mais bien TROIS projets d’entreprenariat social de nos étudiants qui ont été sélectionnés pour la demi-finale de la Global Social Venture Competition qui se déroulera le 8 mars à l’ESSEC à Paris!!!

2iE hosted on January 21, 2012, a delegation including a group of students from the University of Maryland, chapter of Engineers without Borders (EWB), led by Pr. Charles W. Schwartz (James Clark School of Engineering, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering) and M. Chad Morris, Assistant Public Affairs Officer, US Embassy. The students have come to Burkina Faso within the framework of their most recent solar energy project in Dissin. 2iE’s students have presented 2iE’s energy lab facilities and have participated in the discussions that followed EWB’s slideshow on their project in Dissin.

Près de 90 étudiants ont suivi la deuxième formation continue « Entrepreneur Responsable » à 2iE. Sur une semaine intensive, 9 conférenciers (dont  5 chefs d’entreprise) ont présenté leurs pratiques responsables et innovantes en entreprise, afin de démontrer qu’il est possible d’entreprendre autrement.

Une équipe d’étudiants de la Fondation 2iE a été sélectionnée par un jury d’experts parmi les 45 finalistes  du concours de la Société Générale sur la Responsabilité Sociale des Entreprises (RSE) : le Citizen Act.

SOCIALLY-RESPONSIBLE ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM

2nd Edition of Lectures by Mr. Michel LESCANNE, NUTRISET CEO at 2iE

The 2nd edition of the training program in “Socially-Responsible Entrepreneurship” is starting on January 13, 2012, with the inaugural lecture delivered in partnership with 2iE by Mr. Michel LESCANNE, CEO of Nutriset. This presentation will focus on good practices of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and aims at equipping students with relevant skills in implementing a CSR strategy for a company’s sustainable development.
